It's a done deal now, Larry Fitzgerald the star receiver of the Arizona Cardinals agreed to restructure his contract with the Cards. He got a 4 year deal for $40 million dollars. Fitzgerald will make $30 million dollars over the next three years. He made the announcement on his website.
This pours water on any chances of the Eagles being able to pry the young phenom from the Cards. This is obviously disappointing and will likely lead to the Eagles going back to their "We don't need a $1 receiver" type of mentality.
