Boldin Leaving Contract Up To Rosenhaus

The game has just started between Arizona Cardinals and their All-Pro wide receiver Anquan Boldin .  Yesterday after his morning workout at the Cards training facility, he wants more money and he's leaving it up to his agent Drew Rosenhaus.

I think the Cards have made a decision to commit to Larry Fitzgerald because he's younger than Boldin by three years.  Fitzgerald is only 24 while Boldin is 27.  They're both great receivers but I think the Cards know they're not going to be able to hang onto both of them for much longer.

The decision to give Fitzgerald a no trade clause let's me know that they have decided to commit to him rather than Boldin.

This is going to get very interesting because there's no way Arizona can afford to pay two receivers nearly $10 million dollars a piece.  It would be wise to pay close attention to what Boldin and Rosenhaus say publicly from now on.  If the negotiations are going poorly, Boldin and Rosenhaus will start to complain and the Cards could start talking about trading him.

Does this mean the Eagles are going to get Boldin?  No, but it does mean some team in the NFL other than the Cardinals has a pretty good chance fo getting Boldin before too long.
