These People Need To Get Off Tiger’s Back

I didn’t expect Tiger Woods to win the Master’s tournament after such a long layoff.¬† His swing fell apart over the weekend and it cost him.¬† He was able to finish fourth behind this year’s champion Phil Mickelson, because he is such a great competitor.I can’t believe all these people criticizing Woods for not being happy after he came in fourth,¬† yesterday.¬† They say he should have been smiling after the tournament when he talked to the media.

There was a great deal of criticism for the language he used when he missed some shots on the course.¬† I agree that he’s got to chill with dropping F-bombs on the course, but I don’t expect him to be happy about missing a shot.

His critics say that after the tournament, he should have been talking about being thankful for the tournament and the fans for giving him another chance to play again.

I think that’s garbage.¬† Woods didn’t break the law and the reason the tournament wanted him to play was because he would help them make millions and millions of dollars.

The reason Tiger Woods has been such a great golfer is because he wants to win so badly and refuses to settle for anything less.

If Tiger has to put winning on the back burner and be a nice guy, he will never again be the champion we have come to know.

G, look at it like this. How many people watch the Master’s without Tiger Woods??? How many people really care. Tiger knows that he left so many opportunities out on that Golf course, that I would not be happy either. His personal life has nothing to do with it. He should be Happy…that’s a bunch of crap.

Tiger will get himself back on track in the public eye by the end of the year. Taking cheap shots at him is motivated by jealousy and is part of a kick him while he’s down mentality.

Good points G. It’s interesting how the media basically says “We’d prefer that he lied, and told some idealistic BS that nobody in their right mind would believe”… pretty pathetic

Often people feel so bad about their own lives, the only way they can feel good is try to bring someone else down. However, just because you blow out someone else’s candle, it doesn’t make your candle shine any brighter.
