Saints Trying To Trade For Shockey

According to a report NJ.com by Mike Garafolo the New Orleans Saints are trying to trade for Jeremy Shockey.

The report says the Giants were offered the Saints 2nd round pick this year (40) and safety Roman Harper New Orleans number one pick in 2006.

There are sportswriters in New York who believe that Shockey might want to leave New York.  He know if the team struggles at all he'll be blamed for it.  Many tried to say that the team started making its run when he got hurt.

I think it would be a mistake for the Giants to move Shockey,  If they keep him they'll have two big physical and athletic tight ends.  They'll be tough in the running game and very effective as pass receivers.
