Eagles cornerback Sheldon Brown isn't feeling the "Tom Brady" rule change. It restricts a defensvie player who has been knocked down from lunging at the legs of the quarterback to sack him.
Of course everybody saw the play which ended the season of Brady. Brown told ESPN.com that the players won't their time getting up off of the ground before they try to make the play.
"You're just going to see a lot more fines because of this [rule]," said Brown. "Nobody is going to take the time to get up off the ground to hit a quarterback. So you'll have guys make the play, pay the fines, write it off on their taxes and move on. Whoever made that rule is crazy."
The Buffalo Bills and Jordan Peters are still unable to workout a contract . They aren't even close. League sources say the Eagles would be willing to workout a deal to acquire Peters.
The Eagles can't seem to get enough smallish defensive end types? Last week, they were observing the Richmond Pro Day and the workout of DE/OLB Lawerence Sidbury Jr..
He's 6-2 1/2, 265 pounds and ran the forty yard dash in 4.57 seconds at the combine in February. He supposed to be an outstanding pass rusher.
The youngster collected 7 1/2 sacks in the 2008 season.
He tested very well in Indianapolis by lifting 225 pounds 28 times and then he had a 35-inch vertical leap. .

The Plaxico Burress trail has been adjourned unil June 15, so Burress and the rest of us will have to wait until then to find out whether he will play this year . All the experts are saying that he's working on a plea deal that will probably wind up including some jail time.
