It’s now nearly official. ESPN.com and TMZ.com reports that Steve McNair’s girlfriend, Sahel Kazemi shot him to death, while he was sleeping, then turned the gun on herself this past weekend.
Tennessee assistant medical examiner Dr. Feng Li said the preliminary test result show that she shot him. The more evidence that has come out, the more it has looked like a murder-suicide.
The police spokesman put together their story about how the shooting happened.
They believe McNair was shot by Kazemi while he was sleeping on the couch. He shot in the head first, then shot in the chest twice and finally shot in the head again.
After firing the bullets from his AR-15 Rifles, the twenty year old is beleived to have sat on the couch next to McNair’s body, then shot herself.
Some of her friends at her Dave and Buster’s job that she was planning on ending the relationship with McNair. She was afraid that McNair was also involved with another woman.
She had also made comments to friends about taking her own life.
That’s enough of this story as far as I’m concerned. Clearly McNair made some crucial mistakes at the end of his life and Kazemi was either on drugs or mentally disturbed.
