For years New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick was impressed with Eagles backup wide receiver Greg L:ewis. Belichick talked to Andy Reid about him again and again but the Eagles wouldn’t part with him.
Finally this off season, Reid agreed to trade Lewis to Belichick. Lewis was with the Patriots throughout the preseason and looked like he had made the team but New England changed their mind and released Lewis today.
I guess Belichick got what he wanted and realized that what he thought he wanted wasn’t really what he wanted.
