Fox Changes Game Time To Get Vikings-Packers In Prime Time

Eagles hit Manning The Eagles-Giants game on November 1st has been moved from being the featured second game 4:15pm to one of the early games that day.

Fox says they’re doing it in order to avoid a conflict with a World Series game, but the truth is that they’re doing it to make millions of dollars.

They say they’re doing this on behalf of Philadelphia sports fans and the citizens of South Philadelphia.  They’re trying to avoid an overabundance of traffic in South Philadelphia at one time.

That’s what they say but the truth of the matter is that they found a good excuse which will allow them to get the more popular Green Bay versus Minnesota rematch in the 4:15pm spot.

Favre in pocket Of course you’ve heard plenty about the feud between current Minnesota quarterback Brett Favre and the Packers.

Their early game on Monday night television was the highest-rated cable television show ever.  That says it all.  They’re going to get more money with that Vikings-Packers game in the featured slot than having it as an early game.
