I like the Dallas Cowboys over the Vikings because I think they are the best team in the matchup today. The Cowboys are a big, physical and complete football team.
I think the team which is able to run the football the best will be the winner.
The Vkings haven’t been able to run the football lately despite having one of the best running backs, Adrian Peterson, in the league. Their offensive line has gone south and they haven’t been able to open up any holes for Peterson.
Injuries upfront have been part of the problem but he main reason I see is lack of urgency. The Vkings locked a place in the playoffs weeks ago and I think that’s where they lost their edge.
Dallas on the other hand has improved their running game by using Felix Jones more. He has the big play speed that Marion Barber doesn’t have.
Their line is big and dominating.
Both quarterbacks, Tony Romo and Brett Favre will have success throwing the ball the one which makes the mistakes will cost their team the game.
I think Romo will be playing with a running game, while Favre will have to carry the Vikings without one.
