McNabb and MIkell Are Added To The Pro Bowl

McNabb on the moveDonovan McNabb and Quintin Mikell have been added to the NFC Pro Bowl roster.  They will be taking the place of New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees and safety Roman Harper.

With all of the guys the Eagles have in the Pro Bowl this year, you would think that they should be in the Super Bowl.

The Pro Bowl is the worst thing that the NFL does.

The scheduling of the Pro Bowl on the Sunday in between the conference championship games and the Super Bowl will allow about 10 to 15 more players to become Pro Bowlers.

First of all, the two teams which play in the Super Bowl game, can’t play in the Pro Bowl. 

In addition, the two teams which lose the championship games will have a good number of players who have been selected to play in the game but fatigue, injuries and disappointment will make most of them not play.

MikellI think it takes away even more of the game’s legitimacy.

Why would any of the Vikings want to go to the Pro Bowl after a crushing overtime loss to the Saints?  The same question could be said about the four or five Jets that were picked for the team.

You know we’re not going to see Brett Favre at the game as is usually the case.  He’s got an ankle sprain and his body is surely hurting.

Left guard Steve Hutchinson is hurting, cornerback Antoine Winfield has an injured foot and one of the knees of defensive tackle Kevin Williams was hurting before the championship game, so you know he’s not playing in the Pro Bowl. 

The same is true of three members of the Jets offensive line, Nick Mangold, Alan Faneca and D’Brickashaw Ferguson who
